At The River
College and life in your twenties is a time of transition. From living on your own to getting your first real job, to asking difficult questions about your faith, we’re going through so many changes in life. We don’t really need programs, we need friends to walk with us through the change and struggle. We need people to have fun with and laugh with. We need people who will let us struggle with God, while reminding us that He is love, that He is good, and that He looks like Jesus. We’re learning to be that kind of community and those kind of friends at The River.
Things we do
Thursday nights we meet at the Qualls’ house around 7pm until 9/9:30pm. Our time spent together is spent having life talks, worship, or games. Some nights we even enjoy snacks or dinner together.
Tuesday nights are separately for Girl’s and Guy’s nights.
Whether it’s a weeklong hiking trip, celebrating birthdays and holidays, or an evening at a concert, time spent together is important.
